Young and old across the district will be working together on a piece of art to commemorate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
The project will see groups of older people working with local primary school children to create a wall hanging made from British wool to hang in Bradford’s City Hall.
The Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Dale Smith, said: “The project will involve younger and older people in the district getting together to create a piece of art which reflects their home, their culture and their heritage.”
Bradford Council is seeking sponsorship for the project. For information, contact Patrick Kerry on (01274) 432889.
